Kerst 2022: Don & Daisy verzamelpost

 Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Vandaag weer eens een kerstpost met zoals beloofd Don en Daisy in de hoofdrol. Deze kaartjes stonden al een poosje klaar achter de schermen. Ik maakte ze in mijn voorjaarsvakantie namelijk al.  De plaatjes/ stempels zijn bewust steeds de eye catchers en verder niet zo heel veel tierelantijntjes. Wel lekker glitter papier of strassteentjes want het is natuurlijk wel de tijd van over de top met versieren rond Kerst.

Today I'm back with - as promissed- a christmascard/ wintercard series with Don & Daisy.
Don & Daisy are the focal point on my cards. Furthermore I only added some rhinestones or glitter papers to give it a little extra.

Kerst 2020: 2 kaartjes met Don & Daisy

 Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Hier zijn nog 2 kerstkaartjes die ik maakte met de schattige plaatjes waar Don& Daisy op staan van Marianne Design.
Here are 2 cards with the cute Don&Daisy images (Marianne Design).

Voor onderstaand kaartje gebruikte ik een Don en Daisy cardtopper. 
De kaart is een kant en klare voor gestanste kaart met die sneeuwvlokken aan de zijkant. 
De dennentak leende ik van mijn tante.
De clip van de carddisplay vond ik er wel leuk bij passen.
For this first card I used a cardtopper.
The card is pre decorated with the snowflakes border. I borrowed the treebrench of my aunt.
I liked the clip of the card display. So I used it to clip te bauble on the brench.

Verder afgewerkt met turquoise glitter sterren, strass steentjes en distress inkt.
Further more I used a star die (glitter papers), rhinestones and disstressink.

De tweede kaart is een stempeltje waarbij ik mijn Copics gebruikte en wat glossy accents zette op de kerstballen in haar oren en in de doos. De houten sterretjes kleurde ik met dezelfde gele Copic marker waarmee ik ook de sterretjes op haar jurk kleurde. Ook die zijn allemaal aangezet met de glossy accents.

This seccond card is made with a stamped image of Don & Daisy.I colored Daisy with my Copics and I used glossy accents on the baubles and stars.

Kerstkaarten overzicht 2020

 

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Alle kerstkaarten (op die van mijn tante en oma na) zijn gemaakt en verstuurd. Vandaag en morgen die laatste 2 maar eens afmaken en stiekem door dus brievenbus doen.
All christmas cards (except the two of my granny and aunt) are made and on it's way or already deliverd. This weekend I'll finish the last two, so I can sneaky bring them by.

Elk jaar maak ik rond 6 december een kaartenoverzicht van de kaarten die ik het afgelopen jaar weer maakte. De teller staat nu op 46 en dus nog 2 te gaan voor Kerst.
Die krijgen hun aparte post als ze bij mijn oma en tante aanbeland zijn ;)
Every year when it's december 6th, I make this picture of my christmas cards. So I can write them and send them away. This year I made 46 (and the 2 of my granny and aunt will be made). They'll get their own special blog post when they're deliverd ;)

This is the card I send to them. My friend who is a graphic designer, designed my logo and also this card. It says: happy holidays. 

Kerst 2020: Kleine lantaarn 2; hetzelfde papier maar toch 2x anders

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Vandaag is het weer Kerst op mijn blog.

Vorig jaar maakte ik de ticketmal basis al maar ik vond het eigenlijk zonde om er verder nog wat op te doen omdat ik het papier zo gaaf vind. Stiekem vond ik het ook nog te zonde om te versturen dus bleef het half afgemaakte kaartje nog liggen hier.

Inmiddels bedacht ik eindelijk dat het best leuk was om met de stempeltjes van Don en Daisy aan de slag te gaan in dezelfde kleuren als het mooie papier uit het Forrest Dreams papierblok van Marianne Design. Qua basis heb ik ook voor de easelkaart dezelfde materialen (papieren, stansen zoals KERST, poinsetta, dennentak en het soft glitterpapier) en kleuren gebruikt en daar de kleine lantaarn stans aan toegevoegd. 

Today it's Christmas all over again ;)

Last year I made the base of the 2nd card I'm showing you. It's a ticket die with papers of the Forrest Dreams paperbloc by Marianne Design. I loved it too much to put something over the design papers or send it away so I kept it like that in my stash for a year. Now it was time to finish it and I thought of using my cute stamps of Don & Daisy in the same colors as the papers. I colored Daisy with my Copics and made the easelcard with the same base in my mind (Same papers, colors and a poinsetta and the 'Kerst' die).

Kerst 2020: Slimline card met Don&Daisy

 

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Vandaag een 2e kerstpost.

Zoals ik in DEZE post al schreef kon een 2e slimline kaart niet al te lang achterwege blijven.

Dit keer een lekker sneeuwlandschapje met Don&Daisy erop een mooie poinsetta bewerkt met licht blauwe distress inkt en het passende lichtblauwe glitter papier. Deze is NIET van Marianne design. Ik heb deze vorig jaar op de Knotsgekke dagen gekocht. Ik vond het een wat opvallendere kleur dus deze gebruik ik als ik de licht blauw van Marianne te flets vindt zoals bij dit opvallende design papier. Nu springt de tekst er tenminste goed uit.

This time I'm showing you a slimline card with the cute Don&Daisy in a winterwonderland.
I told you in THIS post that I knew I'd make a 2nd slimline card. And I did. I added a christmastree branch and a big poinsetta. I used light blue distress ink on it. I also added the word 'Christmas' in Dutch in glitter paper. It gives a good contrast with the background.

Z-fold #02 Oud en nieuw met Don en Daisy

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Zoals ik in mijn vorige post al schreef heb ik de Z-fold card een beetje ontdekt.

Ik heb als basis de 13,5 x 13,5 cm gebruikt en dan gevouwen en daar een strook van 2,5 cm vanaf gesneden. Zo is je kaart iets kleiner maar hoef je niet 2 kaarten te versnijden voor 1 kaart :)

As I told you in my previous post, I 'found out' the Z-fold cards. Since 2 weeks I made a few and here's the 2nd one to show you.

The base of my card is 13,5 x 13,5 cm. I did cut 2,5 cm off at the length of the card so thats how you get the small strip at the bottom. Ofcourse you can also use extra papers to keep your base 13,5 x 13,5 cm but I chose to do otherwise.

Afgelopen woensdag was een van mijn beste vriendinnen jarig. Ze houdt er niet van om haar verjaardag te vieren dus heeft ze onder het mom van corona niemand uitgenodigd. Toch heb ik bij haar een kaartje door de bus gedaan. Heel suf vergat ik een foto te maken van de kaart haha dus die krijg je niet te zien wel de leuke Don en Daisy kaart (al zeg ik het zelf). Zij zijn wel in voor een goed oud en nieuw feestje hopend dat 2021 een corona-proof jaar zal zijn zonder al te veel gekkigheid.

My best friend was having her b'day but because of corona she had a good reason not to celebrate (she doesn't like b'days) but I did bring her card at her house when she was dining out with her family. I totally forgot to make a picture of the card so sadly there's no picture to show you.

I have also made a new years card. So I'm showing you that one now. 

Don and Daisy are celebrating new years eve and hoping that 2021 will be a corona-proof year without all the fuzz of this year.

Kerst 2019: Don danst met een rendier

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Hier nog een leuk kerstkaartje. Dit jaar heb ik Don en Daisy nog niet eens heel veel uit de verpakkingen gehaald dus hier is Don op zijn best: in de sneeuw dansend ;)

Ik ben aan de slag gegaan met de kerstbal van Marleen en de schattige stempel Don met de slee.

Ik heb hem vrij rustig gehouden. Niet iedere ontvanger houdt van een bling bling kaart :)

This is my creation for the challenge. I made a Christmasbauble. I kept it very simple without too much bling bling :)

Kleine kerstbal #03 Don&Daisy

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Zoals ik gisteren al aangaf is hier kerstbal 3.

Compleet anders dan die je gisteren zag in de rode en roze tinten.

Do you see the glitters in the designpaper on the left?

Like I said yesterday: this 3rd bauble is completely different than those I showed you yesterday in the red and pink colors.

This one is with one of the cutest images of Don&Daisy. I kept them a long time, I thought it was to lovely to send away ;)

It was a very sunny day when I shot this picture :)

Card in a box #03 verhuizen met Don & Daisy

Hoi allemaal/ Hi everybody,

Hier ben ik weer met een kaartje. Dit keer met een verhuiskaart.Vrienden van mij kregen in september de sleutel van hun nieuwe paleis. Er is een hoop opgeknapt en ik mocht met Pasen komen kijken ;)

Ik maakte deze verhuisdoos en had 'm dus al heeeeeeeeeeeel lang klaar liggen. 

De kaart heeft een ere plek gekregen :) altijd leuk om te weten. Ze hebben serieus nog elke zelfgemaakte kaart die ik ze stuurde, het wordt dus zeer gewaardeerd door ze.

Je merkt wel... ook de kaart heeft heel lang in de map 'nog te laten zien' gestaan voor hij eindelijk op het blog mag shinen ;)

Here I am again with a box card. This one is for a couple which moved last september to their new home. Last Easter I went over to see their lovely new home.
But.... until now I still didn't show the card yet.

Maar het wordt de hoogste tijd vind je niet? ;)

Ik heb Don en Daisy ingekleurd zoals zij er samen uitzien (voor zover dat mogelijk is haha).
Ik vind het altijd zo'n schattig plaatje.
De box nog wat gepersonaliseerd met hun straatnaam en nummer.

I colored Don & Daisy like them (as far as possible). 
I adore this cute image so I was glad to use it again.
I personalised the card with the name of their street on it.
