Hier weer een berichtje van mij.
Wat heerlijk die vakantie... al dat geknutsel en relax, dat kan mij niet lang genoeg duren haha. Al ben ik wel heel nieuwsgierig hoe mijn nieuwe werkplek mij zal gaan bevallen. Nog ruim twee weken en dan mag ik ook weer aan de bak.

I love my holiday. All the crafting, relaxing and other lovely things I can do. It may endure much longer haha.Although I'm also quite curious to my new workenvironment where I'll start in about two weeks from now on.

Ik laat jullie een kaartje zien voor een vriend die al jarig is geweest.
Zijn vriendin ook maar ze vieren binnenkort samen hun verjaardagen.
Dus als ik daarheen ga moet ik natuurlijk wel een kaartje meenemen.
Ik heb niet heel veel mannelijke plaatjes dus ik hoop dat deze in de smaak valt!
I'm showing you a card for a male friend. He and his girlfriend will celebrate their birthdays together soon which I'm invited for, so I had to make him a card. 
I don't have much male images so let's hope he'll like it!

Hi everybody,

Afgelopen dinsdag hadden wij de hele dag geen telefoon, internet en tv vanwege kabelschade bij Ziggo.
Last tuesday I had no internet, tv of telephone because the thunderstom hit a cable.
Je weet dan meteen niet meer wat je moet gaan doen haha, maar... ik heb gelukkig de optie om te knutselen. Dus dat heb ik ook gedaan.
In a sudden you don't know what to do anymore... luckily we have the option to craft so that's what I did.
Aan de hand van de sketch bij Retrosketches heb ik een aantal kaartjes gemaakt voor mijn kaartenvoorraad.
I used the sketch from Retro sketches to make some cards for my stock ;)

52 weeks of christmas kaart 1: flying Santa

Hier weer een kaartje van mij.
Vandaag een kaartje gemaakt voor de super handige 52 weken van Yvonne (http://bruggetje.blogspot.nl/)
Dit is de eerste keer dat ik hieraan mee doe.
Zo handig. Ik had al wel een aantal kerstkaartjes gemaakt maar nog niet op donderdag geüpload om hieraan mee te doen.
Nu heb ik dat wel :)

Today I'm participating of the super handy "challenges" Yvonnes 52 weeks of christmas.
This is so handy. I already made some christmascards but still didn't upload them on thursdays so I could participate here.
Now I am.

Ik heb de sketch gebruikt van Seemsalittlesketchy

Ik heb gekozen voor een 3D plaatje wat afgelopen kerst (2012) bij de Hobbyzine Kerstspecial zat. 
I chose an image which was in a mag last christmas.
Bij Milkcoffeechallenge is het thema van deze week: Bon voyage/ vacation.
Deze kerstman gaat ook nog even genieten van zijn vakantie voordat hij weer hard aan het werk moet.
Over at MilkCoffe the theme is Bon voyage/ Vacation. This Santa is also going on his holiday before he needs to work very hard during christmas.
Het DP is van MD,
The design paper is from Marianne Design.
Het zelfklevende kant is van de Boekenvoordeel en de sterren van de Xenos. De glitterlijm die erop zit is van de Action.
Other supplies are stars, sticky lace, glitter glue and pearls (all bought in Dutch stores).
Ik heb de sterretjes goud gemaakt omdat er bij de Liftchallenge- a touch of gold op je creatie moet zitten.
I made the stars gold with the glitterglue cause over at the Liftchallenge they want to see a touch of gold.
Bij Pennyschallenges wordt er gevraagd naar kant of lint. Ik heb zelfklevend kant gebruikt.
Over at Penny's they ask for ribbon/lace. I used the stickey lace.

Eerst met een leuke mededeling die mij vorige week werd gemaild!
Ik had meegedaan aan de DT-call bij het Kaartjes-inspiratie-challenges-blog (KIC)...
Je voelt 'm al aankomen... Ik ben uitgekozen voor team roze, joepieee!!!!
First, I'll tell you my nice announcement.. 
I joined a DT-call over at the Kaartjes-inspiratie-challenges-blog (KIC)... And... I'm elected to join their pink team, WOEHOE!!

Ik heb mijn eerste kaartje al gemaakt en die mag ik jullie heel snel laten zien! (Zondag al!!!!).
I have my card ready but I can't show you yet.. very soon (SUNDAY!!!!).

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt naar aanleiding van de sketch bij:

Je mocht ook andere vormen dan een hexagon gebruiken. Aangezien ik alleen een veels te grote hexagon had of veels te kleine, heb ik gekozen om 3 kleine aan elkaar te maken als achtergrond voor het afdrukje.
You were allowed to use other forms but I wanted to use a hexagon aswell only I had a bigger or smaller one. So I chose the smaller one and make 3 of them to connect them behind the image.

Daaronder 1 stukje washi tape en daaronder de tekst.
Het papier is van Studio light, de strassteentjes van de Action.
Below the stamp I used 1 piece of washi tape and below that the text.
The DP is from Studiolight. The rhinestones are from Action (a store).

Kerst met schaatsende Tilda/ Christmas with ice skating Tilda

Hi everybody,

Aan het begin van mijn vakantie schreef ik het al, het kan blogposts regenen of het blijft een paar dagen stil.
Vorige week 4 posts met kaartjes, nu een aantal dagen niks want... ik was heerlijk met mn mams onverwachts naar Maastricht van donderdag t/m zaterdag! Heerlijk geshopt en cultuur gesnoven :)
At the beginning of my 6 weeks holiday (now more than 3 weeks ago) I said that it might rain blogposts or would be quiet out here. Well last week I posted 4 cards and the last few days it was quiet because I went away with my mom. We went to Maastricht in the south of The Netherlands (county Limburg). We were there from thursday till saturday. We did shop alot and did lots of sightseeing! It was great :)

Now on to my christmas card!

Op het blog van CCWS is er deze week weer een leuke sketch.
Een tijdje terug heb ik dit stempeltje al gekocht en meteen gekleurd.
Ik heb voor het eerst een Tilda met zwarte haren gemaakt. Heel spannend vond ik dat, lang leve de tutorials op YOUTUBE.
A while ago I bought this stamp and inmediately colored the image. Only this time with black hairs. I never did that before so that was very exciting. Buth luckily there's YOUTUBE with lots of great tutorials.

Ik ben iets te vaak over de kleuren heen gegaan met de grijze en zwarte Copics. Nu moest ik met een witte gelpen weer highlighten. Uiteindelijk ziet het er nog wel OK uit maar het was eerst mooier.
I had to stop earlier but I went over and over and over again. 
Next time I need to stop sooner :) Now I had to highlight with a white gelpen.
It turned out quiet well but it was better.

Het DP is van de kerstcollectie 2012 van DoCrafts.
I have used the designpapers from last years Christmas collection of Docraft and black printing paper.

Uiltje/ little owl

Hoi allemaal.

Hier een kaartje met ook een nieuw stempeltje: een uiltje van Leanne Creatief.
Ik was vorige week bij de Pipoos en ging er 70% korting af van de gewone prijs dus een koopje (meteen nog 2 andere stempeltjes gekocht; een snoesje en eentje van Don&Daisy).

Here a card with again a new stamp. It's an owl from Leanne Creatief.
I was in a hobbyshop where they had discount on stamps which were released 1 year ago. The discount was 70% so I bought also 2 other different ones ;)

Bij Fashionistachallenge is het thema wings net als bij Addicted-to-stamps-challenge daar is het thema: Wonderful wings.
Over at Fashionistachallenge and ATSC is the challenge theme wings.
Bij Creativecornerschallenges- polkadots, daarom heb ik lekker veel stippen op scrapjes opgezocht!
At CreativeCornerChallenges, the theme is polkadots so i searched for a lot of dots on my design papers.
Voor de laatste twee challengethema's word je geacht een verjaardagskaart/feestkaart te maken. Kijk maar naar de challenges met thema's:

Naar aanleiding van een Copic tutorial op Youtube heb ik geprobeerd wat vouwen te creëren.

After searching on youtube for Copic tuts bout how to make depth in clothes I tried it on Edwin.

Witte kerstkaart/ white christmas card

Hi everybody,

Hadden jullie gisteren ook zoveel wind?
Ik heb lekker binnen zitten knutselen.
Een kerstkaart wel te verstaan haha. Met die temperatuur lukte dat wel.
Bij KIC had ik een leuke uitdaging gezien, helaas al verlopen voordat de kaart klaar was... 
Maar ik heb dus een witte kaart gemaakt. Alleen het plaatje mocht worden gekleurd.

Did you guys had a lot of wind yesterday? Here in The Netherlands we did!!
So I did spend my time inside to craft.
I made a christmas card, haha. With these temperatures that's easy ;)
Over at KIC I saw a nice challenge: a white on white card, only the image was allowed to have some colors. But sadly enough the challenge ran out of time already before my card was finished :(

Ik had dinsdagmiddag met een vriendin besloten om af te reizen naar Sandpoort-Noord, achter Haarlem. Een hele onderneming zo op de middag maar wij wilde naar Moeders Hobby paleis voor de Copics. Dit is voor ons nu ongeveer de dichtstbijzijnde hobbyshop :(
Maar ik heb mij niet ingehouden haha. Je moet toch wat als je op vakantie gaat!
Ik heb 28 nieuwe Copics gekocht, 3 Magnolia stempeltjes ( weliswaar oudere collecties) en nog 2 stempelsets, 1 met Elines teksten ( de nieuwste) van MD en een wat oudere van DoCrafts waar ik eerst uitdrukvellen van had ( soort van zonde om te gebruiken want die waren echt duuuuuur). Nu heb ik er de stempels van dus nu durf ik ze eindelijk te gebruiken en ook daadwerkelijk te versturen hahaha.
Ook had ik nog een nieuwe MD mal gekocht en Copic papier wat ernstig op begon te raken..
Nu kon ik dus volop weer stempelen en daarom heb ik een kerstkaart gemaakt met Ice skating Tilda.

I went tuesdayafternoon to a place called Sandpoort- Noord. It's near to Haarlem.
I went there with my friend to shop some new crating materials especially Copics (I bought another 28!!!) Also some Copic paper cause we ran out of it.
Two stampsets (1 with sentiments from Eline (MD) and 1 from Docraft with tea cups and cupcakes. I had these in 3D version but I never did send that card away yet cause I loved it too much ;) My mom wanted that one send away to nice ladies but everytime I said NO!!! NOT YET!
Now I can finally send it away without hard feelings cause I can stamp those same images now over and over and over ;)
Further I bought 3 Magnolia stamps (on sale) and 1 MD die cut from the latest release. I'll hope to use it soon.
Back to my card, I made a white on white card with one of my new Magnolia stamps: Ice skating Tilda.
